Another day in.... Paradise?
Okay, first I would like to proclaim that I have, in fact, completely excepted my ... eccentricity... and the reason I came to this particular determination is because I am irrationally excited at the potential chance to see Apocalyptica in concert. (I say potential, because I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it when it gets closer, but I can hope...)... Why does this prove my eccentricity, you ask? Well... Chances are you've never heard of Apocalyptica (if you have, Bravo!)... but they are a Finnish Cello Quartet (which now has a drummer) that plays Heavy Metal music... on.... four cellos. They are most famous for covering a bunch of Metallica for an album. It's great. How interesting is THAT?

Anyway... I can't say today was all that exciting... I was home (try and be surprised) and spent the oh-so-exciting afternoon doing the mass sending out of cover letters (which I am beginning to loathe more than anything) and resumes... I'd relate some of the "exciting" jobs I applied for.... but yeah... they are sort of a blur of customer service, administrative assistants and other un-eventful sort of positions (to hell with this recession!!!!). HOWever, there was one job that I am mildly hopeful (and actually interested in) about... ALTHOUGH, I'm not becoming hopeful... because as we have witnessed, every job that I become mildly interested in, shafts me royally. SO. We are being positively UNhopeful about this one, yeah?

It is at a horse farm near Bellows Falls, I think? (Townshend,VT? Anyone?)... The cool thing is they breed (expensive) and VERY awesome horses - Friesians (no, that shouldn't mean anything to you, unless you're a horse person). But they are single handedly my favorite breed, and I've never had the opportunity to ride one. Anyway. It's a breeding/training farm and somewhat of a touristy thing... pretty high end (by nature of the breed). They are looking for someone with horse knowledge/experience to be their office manager/tourist liaison sort of thing. It's predominantly a desk job... but, with a underlying horse component. SOUNDS good to me (other than I would be living in the middle of... Nowhere? That's right, I said NOWHERE. haha

Other than that... I watched Idol tonight (I am more than a little in love with David Cook)... and then.... I find myself here.

I have to say, I am a bit thankful for the welcome IM interruptions, today, while I was job-searching... I have a tendency to get a little... BLEH... shall we say? When I job search, because it seems like there is NOTHING good, or NOTHING I am qualified for. Argh. Very frustrating, so their distractions were certainly welcome. Probably the most interesting was editing on the fly this kick-ass story (based on a dream) that a friend of mine is writing. Kept the afternoon entertaining. PLUS, I must admit, I'm dying for him to write the ending - I want to know what happens!

As for the rest of the evening... I am pondering just going to bed. I know, hold in your shock. Well. I finished the book I was reading and am not feeling into starting another, right now... so... what else to do with my time? No one else seems to be online to chat with really... SO.
Perhaps it is time for sleep?
HMM. Weird.

Incidentally, I think my music library is trying to tell me something... The last four songs have been "Hall of the Mountain King", "Paranoid", "I think I'm paranoid" and "Losing all control."
That's a little weird, yeah?
