hello
I'm new and just wanted to introduce myself.
I tried to find support on the WW Message Boards but a lot of the people there were rude.
Weight Watchers seems to be working well for me.
I started weight loss before WW, and lost 17 pounds on my own.
But I just felt like I couldn't keep up with it, I was always starving.
So the first week on I lost 5 and the second 3.
My third WI is Monday and I'm nervous because I may or may not have peaked at the scale and was the same.
I don't know how to deal with the disappointment of not losing.
Anyone else have these issues?

I broke through the plateau!
 FINALLY!!!!

After about five weeks of hovering around the same damn 2 lbs???

This past week, I stuck to Core. I leanred something important when I was in VA - and that is freezing dinners you make yourself makes A HUGE DIFFERENCE. My sister does not eat tv dinners, but instead freezes food she makes for her and her hubby. So, this past week, I made soup and froze it. I made black beans/brown rice/ ff cheddar cheese and froze it (mixed with avocado!). And I started lifting weights at the gym.  And the coolest thing was...when I was lifting weights, I was watching myself and my body move. I was working with 5 lb weights...and I just saw that my body really has changed in four months. I am leaner and more toned. My good friend's mom noticed that I "am getting more of a waist" which was pretty cool.

And after all of that......

I LOST 2.6 LBS!!!!!!  This is the most I have lost at one shot in months.

AND I got my 16 week pin! And when the instructor was talking, she said something like "Katchoo is a great example of patience and determination. And she finally broke through, by just *not giving up*." It was a wonderful feeling to be recognized for what she called my "quiet determination."

FUCKING YES!!!!!!!!!!!

:-)

Wow. What an interesting night.

First, I put a Zod, Ist, Ber, Cham, and Vex on the ground, along with an angelic ammy. I went back to the game, and then picked up the stuff.

Apparently B.net's server had some sort of hiccup, because when I looked in the account again, nothing was there.

It wasn't in the original mule, either.

To top it all off, I was then temp banned for searching through my mules.

Folks, this is why people quit, and this is probably why people cheat. Those were LEGIT items, and now they're gone.

Thank you Blizzard, for such a quality product.

In terms of this game, I am utterly defeated. It is time for bed.

I can't remember the last time I didn't blow all or most of my flexies on a Friday night.  I still have 31 left and none of the 4 were used tonight.  I earned 9 AP's from moving today.  We had Chinese delivered for dinner and I had a cup of egg drop soup, a cup of chicken and broccoli, 3/4 of an egg roll, a chicken wing, a crab puff, and a fortune cookie for 10 POINTS!!  I am so pleased with myself.  I just went to the fridge and snuck a few more bites of food, probably about 2 points worth, but I still didn't go into my flexies!  Yay for NSVs!

P.S. Is x-posting just putting the same entry in your journal?  Or is there some LJ way to do it?  Will some one please tell me?

Hair.
I dyed the top Deadly Nightshade, and while surfing colors I saw mention of someone who mixes it with Hot Hot Pink on the Manic Panic website. I may try that next time to cut down on the "bit too dark,it'll fade soon" waiting period I always have. Oh and I dyed the undershave part Aftermidnight Blue for the hell of it. I've never had blue. I now have 3/4 of a Deadly Nightshade tub, a new Hot Hot Pink tub, 2/3 an Aftermidnight Blue tub, and a new Enchanted Forest gel for the next time we do the medium's hair. 6-8 weeks puts me at re-doing it in July just in time for Pennsic.

I'd really really really like to split my bob cut down the middle and do blue/green for Pennsic, but I'm afraid to fry my hair enough to get it blonde so the dye is the right color.

I'm feeling...: busy and covered in dye!

Tack Opinions?
Hey guys!

I'm looking for opinions on bridles. I'm trying to get a sub $130 dressage bridle, and have narrowed it down to
the HDR: http://tinyurl.com/5oyp5c
and
the Collegiate: http://tinyurl.com/55ye87

Anyone have experience with either brand or bridle?

Thanks!

Edited to ask: Also, what kind of leather should I avoid? I heard someone say that Argentine leather is bad, but I can't find anything to back that up. I know english leather is high-quality, but what other leathers are good?

10% reached!
I don't really post a whole lot, but I read everyone else's postings on a daily basis. You all are a constant source of inspiration to me!

I just wanted to post because I have REACHED MY 10% GOAL!!! I've lost a total of 17.1 pounds so far, since joining ww back in March. After speaking with my leader, I decided to choose 130 pounds as my goal weight. It's higher than my personal goal of 120 pounds, but I have a feeling those last 10 pounds are going to take forever to lose, so I'd rather get lifetime sooner rather than later. Is that the norm? What are/were your ww goal weights and how do/did they compare with your personal goals?

Activity Pts Question
Hello!  I've been doing ww online for 4 weeks now, but I haven't actually lost any weight because I took the middle 2 weeks off for exams. :P But now I am getting serious, recording my points and excercising. I'm taking my mom's advice (she being an ex-smoker) and taking one day at a time! Anyway, I have a question for you guys about activity points. I'm a college student; for my summer job I work at a dog boarding kennel as a kennel tech. It's very physical work, spraying and scrubbing kennels and walls, hauling dog food around, etc. My question is, do I get any activity points for this? If so, how do I record it? Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi everyone...

My name is Shiloh and I'm new to WW and new to this community. I started about 2 weeks ago on the flex plan and I'm finding it pretty easy to stick with, in fact I'm almost always under my daily point allowance. I spent the first 2 weeks on the program just getting used to eating differently and seeing how it made me feel before I started an exercise plan. On wednesday I started biking but that didn't work out so well, so this afternoon I'm going to start doing T-Tapp. Does anyone else do this? A friend of mine did it and lost about 40 pounds in 3 monthes or so.

My short term goals is to make sure I can fit into a dress that I already have for a wedding at the end of the month. My long term goals.... well, I'm 23 and have always been heavy. I've been with the most amazing man since I was 16 and we are so very much in love now, more now than we were when we were teenagers, we have been engaged for 2 1/2 years now. Now that I'm getting close to graduation from college we're starting to talk seriously and plan our wedding. So, my long term goal is for him to carry me across the threshold on our honey moon. I don't want to look at pictures from my happiest day and not like the way I look.

My mom was always on me about needing to lose weight and I never did because I guess, subconsciously, I really didn't like being told what to do. But now, with my wedding no longer seeming like something far off in the future that would never come, I've decided for myself that its finally time.

Anyway... thats my story. :-)
