Well, it would seem that I have totally been slacking off on posting, these days. Why is that, you ask? Because I am exHAUSTed. What do I do all day? Physically, not a whole lot... But holy shit. My brain is going to implode.

Seriously, I have noooo idea why I am so tired, these days. Maybe it's just getting used to the schedule? Up early and functioning right off? Maybe I'm just mentally wiped out from extended (8 hours a day!) of concentrated learning. I have no idea. All I know is that by the time I get home, I am ready to pass OUT.  I am hugely in favor of adult nap-time. haha

Anyway, the job is going as well as can be expected. Starting to feel a bit more comfortable with the eight thousand programs... fortunately, being comfortable with computers and visual things in general, I am picking up the coding on the screens and the maneuvering different programs for different things, fairly easily.  There is just a lot of them. (seriously, we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-10 applications that we use throughout the day to function.).  However, the part that is being difficult for me is the straight up learning of the information. It's like being in school again. Be presented information. Retain information. It is particularly hard, because really, who is THAT excited about supplemental insurance policies, or co pays, etc? There's a lot of jargon, a lot of abbreviations and.... yeah.  a LOT.

But. I am doing my best. Why? because that's what I do... I have a real problem half-assing anything. Not to mention, this is the only paying game in town, at the moment. And, it seems it is a promising company to work for. However. I am setting my sights on learning as quickly as I can and doing the best that I can, because I want to be on the phones for as little time as I can. As much as I can DO that job, I know that's not something I'm going to love, forever. Seriously. Won't someone please just transfer me to Public Relations?

Outside of that... there isn't much. I am SO excited for this Friday. Aside from the fact that it is Friday... it's PAYCHECK FRIDAY!! YEEHAW. It will be my first official paycheck in....... well, a lot of months. Really thrilling.

So. That seems to be it. I'm dazzling some of the people in my 'class' with *magical* computer things, like the wonders of Alt-Tab and Ctrl-C.  Ahh. Amazing.

Anyway. I've been all efficient and made my lunch for tomorrow... now I have to hope I have something presentable to wear.... and Yeah.  BED. Definitely bed. Soooo sleepy.

I swear, Dear LJ... I will try and come up with more excitement... I promise. I sound SO boring in these updates lately. hahaha
